Given the degree of data required to direct you to a city centre location, I don't propose to go into infinite detail here. The easiest way, if driving, is to use the above postcode in your satnav.
Please note, in common with every other city centre on the planet, parking is at a premium, the nearest one is 'Capital Car Park', which has 1,000 undercover spaces a few minutes walk north of the museum; there is the carpark signposted for 'Albert Dock', which is a short walk south of the museum; or there is the 'Liverpool One' Retail Area carpark also to the south.
The Museum itself is on the riverside, immediately next to, and south of, the 'Three Graces', i.e. The Royal Liver Building, The Cunard Building and The Port of Liverpool Building, formerly The Mersey Docks and Harbour Board Building.

From North Wales, Cheshire, etc. : -

By Train : -
Lime Street is about a 20 minute walk away, across the city.

By Bus : -
The nearest Bus Station is at Paradise Street, near the Liverpool One retail Area.
There are buses which stop close to the Museum, please check local website for details.

I hope that helps…
